Eve was born to Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. Jack and George were her two younger brothers. Her birthplace was in raised in England and Los Angeles. Her education was at Bedales School then Westminster School London to complete their A Levels. She studied English at St Catherine's College Oxford during the gap year. While at Oxford, she appeared as a student in productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers as well as The Colour of Justice. The actress was born into a mixed-race family, with an Indo British father Anthony Mitra of British descent as well as an Indian mother Nora Downey. Her English actor is middle-aged child. She has a brother who is older named Jason Mitra and a younger brother called Guyan Mitra.
