April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. in seventh grade. She began playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons, sparking her love for writing songs. April Lockhart composed her very first song, Different, at age 12 years old. At the age of 14, April committed a large amount of time in writing song ideas and practicing her music. In the following years, she began taking excursions to write with her father, who lived in NY in New York and LA. April started to include other subjects in the book, Take My Hand, for her friends who were dealing with peer pressure, disabilities or even suicide. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry who is gaining a loyal following. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia in partnership, in addition to being an expert in the field of lifestyle. Lockhart was born without a hand on her left side and it's an aspect of her identity, but this isn't the whole truth. Because of this, her Instagram profile doesn't hide the fact that she is disabled, but it's not focused on it either. The point? The message? We can all be multifaceted and our bodies and identities are not all that appear. Lockhart through a recorded message from Nashville's home, states that I don't intend to allow this to be a part of me. I'm greater than the physical person I am. And it doesn't affect my day-to-day life I do everything normally and I've found the best way for me to adapt circumstances. It's also part of me, so I believe that it's important to speak about. Lockhart's journey to acceptance of herself will be one that lasts many years, yet she inspires me with regard to this. Lockhart has admitted that she's been through times when she was unsure about dressing in certain styles that revealed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and posts photos of herself in the outfits she chooses on social media. This is a long journey. main thing I'm not certain that you ever arrive her self-love statement. It's a trip, but I'm not convinced that you will ever reach your destination. I believe having friends around you who really understand you and can see your emotions is important because they'll be the people who will remind you what you worrying about?
