Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her leading roles on a number of TV shows, and also for her powerful performance in films. Both Canadian and American television are fond of Emily VanCamp. Emily's passion for acting started at the age of 12 when, she went to visit her sister Katie who was making a film with Katie. After realizing her passion in acting, she began taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. After a few successful commercials she was soon cast in the Canadian Kids' Horror TV show Are You scared of the Dark? The show had one episode where she was unable to talk. Her debut break came around the age of 15 when she was cast in the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the show was cancelled after just nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily for Everwood which is his upcoming TV show. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who began to take up photography as well. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
