Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej (now Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to get a flawless score of 10 in an Olympic competition. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian Gymnastics Coach, came across Comaneci at just seven years old. The first time she competed at the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she was the winner in 1970. In 1972, at the communist nations' meet for junior athletes before the Olympics she took home 3 gold and silver medals. Then in 1973 and 1974, she became the all-around junior champ. In 1975, she took home four golds and one silver in her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. The first female to ever successfully complete a backwards double salto after dismounting from an unbalanced parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a teenager in which she was a part of a figure skating duo with their sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol entered the entertainment industry as a teenager. Early on she was a figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. Ice Capades showcased performances of ice-skating by actors.
