Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th, 1967. Julia Fona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in the theatre at a young age. As an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he was inducted into the Air Force in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. They married in 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple their own. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for 6 years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
